WLS Employment Opportunities The World Learner School of Chaska, a public Montessori Charter School, is one of the oldest charter schools in Minnesota, being chartered in 1995. WLS was founded by Jonathan Montessori, a Children’s House in existence for over 32 years. WLS currently serves 175 children in three lower elementary classes, three upper elementary classes and a middle school. The World Learner School is 35 miles southwest of Minneapolis in Historic Chaska. Elementary Montessori Teacher The World Learner School is currently reviewing our long term staffing needs, and would like to establish contact with prospective Montessori teachers, possibly to start in the 2010-11 school year, possibly starting later. Our team of teachers is outstanding. A majority of the school’s board consists of full time teachers in the school. Preference will be given to teachers who have completed their training, are MN licensed and have teaching experience; however, teachers in training may also be considered.
